John Glines has been involved in charity auctions for many years as both a ringman and auctioneer. He has chaired numerous fundraisers and is responsible for helping raise hundreds of millions of dollars for nonprofit organizations throughout the world.
John has been instrumental in raising funds for such organizations as The Napa Valley Wine Auction, Vista Center for the blind and visually impaired, Jimmy V Foundation, Sun Valley Wine Auction, Detroit International Wine Auction and many others.
In 2004 John attended the Professional Ringman Institute in Springfield, Missouri where he enhanced his ringman skills, putting that experience into his charity auction work. In 2006, John graduated from the World Champion College of Auctioneering in Bakersfield, Ca. He tuned his bid calling skills and incorporated that ability into helping non profit organizations raise money through fund raising auctions. In 2007, John won the California State Ringman competition as well as the Rookie Auctioneer competition. In 2009 John was recognized as the Reserve Champion Auctioneer at the California State Auctioneers Convention.
In 2009 John started Central Coast Auction Service, a full service auction house specializing in wine and benefit auctions. Since that time, John and the CCAS team have helped raise millions of dollars for charities throughout the country. We've added three additional auctioneers and more than a dozen professional ringmen so we are confident we have the perfect fit for your auction.
